The only issue is that they don't have a full bar - Beer and Wine only which is a shame.More infoPlatea Prime Steakhouse & Ceviche BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Pinecrest•4.9
- MMikeCharlotte •20 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOh Fratelli Jholano’s you are absolutely DANGEROUS!!! A smaller tucked away delightful gem in downtown dadeland area. Parking underground unless you can find on the street. The hostess was lovely, polite and accommodating. We arrived on time but a table wasn’t available right away so we sat at the bar and were moved when one opened up. It is worth the wait. Be patient because the flavors are powerfully delicious! We started with an Antipasti, the Castelventrano and Jholano Loves Fig. The olive oil / rosemary infusion of the olives was addicting. The focaccia was simply perfect! The lightly toasted focaccia crunched exactly right and too became addicting with the fig spread, Brie, and sliced Prosciutto with walnuts. This was a powerful flavor explosion! They sliced it evenly to 4 and I wish there were 10!!! Now, dinner…. I heard about their version of the Chicken Parmesan, called the Chicken Al 400, a perfectly fried breaded chicken cutlets in light oil over a bed of sauce topped with arugula and pecorino Romano shaved cheese. I added a picture! The taste and flavors were spot on. I added a side of meatballs which were really flavorful! My wife enjoyed her Zucca Ravioli although she’s a lighter pallet than mine and felt the oil was a bit strong. I disagree! I commenced dipping my meatballs into the oils and sauce creating a powerful yin yang of sweet, salty and savory! I also dipped my meatballs in my dish’s sauce. I would love for some of those sauces from each dish to accompany the meatballs! A meatball flight or what have you. I accompanied the starters with a Peroni and the mains with a Chianti Classico. Paired well. Dessert…. We tried the tiramisu, and we are very picky about this little dish as we’ve had it all over the world. It didn’t quite hit the flavor mark as it comes as more of a pudding style than a cake style. The flavors were too soft and I really wanted it to be more powerful and follow my earlier dishes. Great job!!!More infoFratelli By Jholano'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• South Miami•4.5
