Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Playa del Carmen / Riviera Maya

Last night at Ha, we experienced a symphony of flavors that transcended anything we’ve ever known—a true masterpiece of culinary artistry. Each dish was a revelation, perfectly balanced and exquisitely presented. The service? Impeccable, attentive without intrusion. The ambiance? Pure perfection, elevating the entire experience. My hat is off to the brilliant chef and the exceptional servers who orchestrated this unforgettable evening. To have witnessed the creation of these meals would have been a privilege. Bravo, Ha—this is dining at its pinnacle.

Luma Taverna provided me and my family with excellent food and a relaxing yet neat environment with welcoming staff and great energy. Our server was efficient and kind. The restaurant was very clean and felt safe.

Not only was the food ahhhhmazing but the wonderful servers explained everything to us and just made the experience so memorable!

I was drawn to the menu as it is has many seafood options, as well as land options. I had the Catch of the Day which was Seabass - very very good choice. We also enjoyed the coconut shrimp and tuna tartare. Every item tasted so fresh and delicious! Service was good. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Every single dish was delicious. The only thing I would have preferred is better on ambiance. We sat in the smaller room past the wine seller, which was more more intimate. But the main room with the bar seemed like a sports bar. Absolutely recommend if you’re interested in trying dishes that you would normally not pick for yourself. The portions are SMALL so we went to the Mercado after for additional tacos and desserts.
