- GGaryDevon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI have eaten in many Indian Restaurants both in Berkshire and Central London and the Bombay Story is right up there with the best of them and is nothing less than Michelin Star quality. Authentic Indian cooking that is cooked with a passion from the chef's. Normally, I do not have a dessert in an Indian restaurant but Bombay Story have raised the bar even higher. Their Pistachio Tiramisu is a delight, very light and refreshing and was a great end to a perfect evening with friends. Highly recommended and great value.More infoBombay Story - MaidenheadPrice: Moderate• Indian• Maidenhead•4.8

A big congratulations to all and I’m back again there tonight for more of the same.More infoThe White OakPrice: Expensive• English• Maidenhead•4.4
- SSimonLondon •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAs always an excellent meal. Almost all our dishes were beautifully presented and perfectly executed (one exception). Service here is impeccable, from the initial greeting to the attention to detail throughout. They are justifiably proud of their dedication to staff training in both kitchen and front of house. Lovely little extra touches such as canapes, amuses, petits fours and bottomless free sparkling water are much appreciated, as is the impressive fact that they keep notes on file of what each guest has enjoyed on previous visits. The only one disappointing dish on this occasion was the stone bass with "sherry beurre blanc", which was incredibly bland, gave no hint of sherry, and lacked interest. In all other respects the food throughout was predictably excellent. Our only real complaint is a common one: the scant descriptions in their menu. Virtually every dish requires enquiry for information on ingredients and flavours from the server, which although it is readily forthcoming, really should not be necessary. A few more printed words rather than this nowadays all too common pseudo-trendy brevity would, for us, be much appreciated. The wine list is extensive and has something for most tastes and pockets, although those on a limited budget will struggle. We find the inner workings of the AA a baffling mystery - only awarding two rosettes here, and yet naming them UK Restaurant of the Year! Another rosette would be richly deserved, and surely can't be far away.More infoThe Greyhound BeaconsfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Beaconsfield•4.9
