Chef Frank Bonanno dug into his Sicilian heritage and east coast roots to create this authentic, rustic Italian eatery. Luca has amazing personal touches from the daily made breads and pastas to the meats and cheeses cured in house, to the charcoal drawing of Bonanno’s son (and the restaurant’s namesake) that hangs in the dining room.     As always an incredible meal at Tavernetta. Went in for a snowy Monday dinner and had a cocktail each, split an app, and two plates of pasta. A light dinner but perfect, and what we were looking for. One of the pastas could’ve benefited from another 5-10s, but with fresh pasta, who cares. Delicious!

    Despite a 30 minute delay on our reservation due to a kitchen issue during the Valentines Day rush, we were met with amazing service at every turn. Our server at the bar tag teamed the wine pairing skillfully while the bartender was also very attentive. Food was good to great during the prix fixe menu with only a miss on 1 dessert - olive cake was dry. Pasta, burrata, fish and beef were all great. Will return to hit the regular menu for sure.

    Grant was AWESOME!!!!!!!! Best server we’ve ever had dining out. Thanks for making our Valentine’s Day so special. Your energy was genuine and much appreciated! The lamb pasta put me straight to sleep soon as we arrived home.. a young lady came to check on us towards the end and held the door for us on our way out which really was the cherry on top. Thanks again! We look forward to visiting y'all again!

    We had multiple moments where the food was so incredible, we couldn’t help but close our eyes to fully experience the flavor! Every dish was perfect. Don’t miss the tagliatelle.
