Best Romantic Restaurants in Guilford

I treated my mom to a stay the Madison Beach Hotel to celebrate her 70th birthday. We had a dinner at The Wharf where Drew our waiter made the evening a special night for my mom and I. We started with the mussels, clam chowder, and seasonal drinks, all of which were top notch. Our waiter Drew was attentive and had a great sense of humor which added to the fun of our celebration. The meal ended with a delicious dessert and the whole restaurant singing “Happy Birthday” to my mom. It was definitely a night she will remember. We look forward to returning to The Wharf!

We could not have been more pleased with our dinner at Saltback Prime! We are early birds and essentially had the restaurant to ourselves for most of our dinner, but even as it grew more crowded, it didn’t impact our experience. Our server, Natasha, was attentive without being overbearing. And everything we chose to eat or drink was divine! I especially loved the decor and how each table seemed almost private despite the dining room being open. Would love to come back!

This is not our first time at Chamard and we cannot fault in any way. The ambience the staff the food the wine are all wonderful. I cannot believe that we have lived so close this wonderful winery and have only just found this place within the past six months! Can’t recommend Chamard Winery so much, everything about this venue is amazing.

Superb apps and entrees, always a great menu has specials to choose from. Outstanding service!

Wonderful bistro. Relaxed atmosphere, low noise level allowing for conversation, and outstanding food. Terrific addition to the area dining scene.
