We are a fine dining BYOB Italian restaurant that has served Long Beach Island for the past 25 years. We serve only the freshest local ingredients that are available to us. We have an assortment of meats, local seafood from Barnegat Light, and fresh produce from local growers.     One of my favorites restaurants on LBI! The octopus app is one of my favorite dishes of all time simply delicious! The pork chop calabrese is out of this world!

    The food is always absolutely excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable, and it is one of our favorite restaurants. We both had the prime rib, which was so tender, tasty and huge! And the price was only $35. Can’t be beat!

    We are frequent patrons at Daddy O...we are never disappointed with whatever we order whether it is happy hour apps and cocktails or a full dinner from apps to dessert! We also love staying overnight throughout the off-season. The staff could not be more attentive or welcoming..it is always such a pleasure to go here! A special shout out to John who was so accommodating when we were here on Valentine's Day evening and overnight.

    The perfect place for a romantic dinner! The setting was beautiful. Live piano music. From the time we walked in, the service was excellent. Friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Perfectly descriptions of the menu. Jean was wonderful. The food….delicious from first course to dessert. If you’re looking for a truly special meal, The Gables is the place to go. It is definitely worth the trip to LBI.
