Best Romantic Restaurants in Long Lake

The "small" portions are meant to be shared. We ordered 3 small portions for four people. The food was great. Atmosphere cozy, interesting, inviting. Service staff excellent, fun, efficient. Bathrooms clean. We were well cared for and welcomed. I was reminded of my Italian Aunt who would serve us plentiful delicious food at her table.

Food was excellent. Our server was not that interactive but luckily we have been here before so knew the drill.

We went for the Thanksgiving buffet. It was $60 per person which included a drink (soda/tea, etc.). It was an exceptional experience. They had all the standard hot items, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, delicious roasted veggies, etc. There was a carving station with turkey, ny strip and shrimp cocktail. They also has unique items like salmon, pigs in a blanket, Buffalo cauliflower, fruit, chicken tenders, just to name a few. Buffet was setup mostly along the bar, with the same stuff on both sides to split crowd. It flowed well and never felt crowded. Dessert had pumpkin and pecan pie, cheesecake, cookies, etc. Everything was delicious. Redstone uses really quality ingredients. We all agreed that while everything was great the best thing of the night was the gravy. It was sooooooo good. They bring it to your table from the back. I think we went through 5 or 6 portions, it was that good. Best gravy we've ever had. Service was good. We sat in the bar area. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back next year.

We reserved a standard table by the window because my husband has hip problems and can not sit high top chairs. But we were given a table far from the window with high top table. We told the hostess that's not what we've requested. They quickly made the changes, but we had to a few minutes for our requested table to be ready. Janine, our server was very attentive to us. The food was good except for the baked eggs and the fresh oysters.

What a fun valentines dinner. Loved the decorations and the fun staff.
