The restaurant was full and yet our food came out quickly and the waitress was always nearby to clear the finished plates, replace water or refill wine. - PPollyMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoLove the pasta and the straciatella and potato focacia. Wagyu rump cap was also cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the olive cake which was light and delicious.More infoThe Carlton Wine RoomPrice: Expensive• European• Carlton•4.8
- JJoshSouth Australia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoIf you're even in Melbourne for a holiday or a local, you're life won't feel as fulfilling until you've experienced Meatmaiden, I can't make this up! The food was impeccable, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere is second to none. If I could afford it, I would go every night.More infoMeatmaidenPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Melbourne CBD•4.6
- CAChrisAMelbourne •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHidden down a cute laneway in an old motor garage is one of the very best Italian restaurants in the city ... actually, one of the best places to eat! Their Gnocco (atteptiser) is a fluffy savoury starter that never fails to get my guests to say "oh ... wow". Great sharing food (or don't share) and excellent wines (mostly Italian). Pastas are unique, the mains amazing. I visit regularly. Not cheap but certainly not over the top.More infoTrattoria EmiliaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Melbourne CBD•4.8
