Best Romantic Restaurants in Marrero

Truly a phenomenal experience. The attention to detail is impeccable. Service is perfection. The food was richly complex and expertly prepared with every element balanced and visually appealing. August makes you feel special and every aspect has been carefully crafted to provide a wonderful experience from the moment you enter the restaurant until the final bite.

My girlfriends and I gathered from all over the country back home in New Orleans to have a Christmas meal together. San Lorenzo exceeded exceptions. Our server Madison A made sure we had the most special dining experience and shared her knowledge of the wine selection and which would pair best with each dish of every course. We felt like family with smiles and greetings from all the staff and the overall warm atmosphere. The dining area itself is very cozy with an exclusive feel. Sort of like a secret local gem where you can come as you are and always feel like a VIP. My friends and I will definitely be making this a regular rendezvous when we’re able to make it back home and we will certainly ask to be in Madison’s section everytime!

My basil spaghetti was delicious as was the duck confit eaten by another diner. Another diner had speckled trout which he was unimpressed with. Parts of the fish were undercooked and some parts were overcooked.

From the moment you walked in you felt the Holiday spirit! Our waiter, Kevin was wonderful. I asked him for his recommendations and they were all on point…kinda want to eat there again tonight!!

Everything was amazing. Our server Mary was the absolute BEST!!! The food was ok but it was me trying new things. I took the recommendations do that’s on me. But I worked definitely go back.
