Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self.     Our server was very patient and understanding that we wanted to visit with our great nieces and linger. The girls loved coming to Sam's. Their first time there We told them the history of our experiences there in our lifetimes and my experiences meeting Denny Long there while arranging a shower party in the basement. I told them what a charming Irish guy he was and I I was so enamored with him So sorry he left us. So glad I met him.

    The food was absolutely AMAZING! I started with grilled oysters that was so good I almost ate the shell! For dinner I got the Pollo Marsala with Brussels sprouts and fingerling potatoes...all very tasty! The check was literally falling off the bone! I also tried their espresso martini flight which is probably the best deal you can get! The amount of drink in the cocktail for flights was extremely satisfying. I loved that they all were unique but still very much an espresso martini. Unfortunately the dessert menu was underwhelming so I opted out. But that didn't even factor into my overall experience! I will be back!!!

    Christmas dinner with my dad. Dover sole and the hanger steak were outstanding. The star of the show was the truffle risotto and the croissant bread pudding was great!
