The service by Rob was amazing, and the food was incredible! Starting with our signature cocktails: Winter Solstice and old fashion. Then we started with delicious duck croquets… YUMMMM. Followed by the Sea Bass and Salmon accompanied with a great Pinot Noir, Seduri, that was wonderful! And we ended with the chocolate mousse, my my! The only thing that we were not impressed was the lobster mac & cheese… hardly any lobster and very salty. But we love Sear and will always go back

We have been going to the Oar House for probably 35 years. The dinners and their special sauces are phenomenal! The bread this trip was soggy and not fresh. We asked for another order and it was exactly the same ! The service was somewhat lacking! I always state in my reservations if it is a special occasion but the staff never looks!! It was our 50th anniversary and I had to keep telling everyone and I shouldn’t have to!

It was a nice experience. My husband and I were celebrating our 39th anniversary and decided to go there. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. What was even more special, was a couple that paid for our dinner. So all in all, our dinner was delicious.

Our waiter Mody was awesome. The wife and I were celebrating an early Valentine’s dinner due to the fact that I can’t be around a lot of people due to my battle with Brain cancer. I still have quite a battle looming but it was a special night with my special wife Kay. The food was delicious and our waiter, Mody made it a special night!

New to the Rockwall restaurant landscape, I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The restaurant is inviting and warm in character. The dining area offers both booths and tables but leaves enough room between to avoid feeling crowded or imposing on another dining party. A full bar with seating is also available. We were warmly welcomed by several of the staff when arriving and being sat. New to this location, it appears they have enclosed the outdoor patio area. We did not venture outside (much too cold) but it looks like a lot of great added space. I would consider Wades Landing a very family friendly place. IMO, the menu selections fit this area. Nothing too exotic, which I believe is a good decision. Too often new restaurants open with menus that don't fit the pallets of their customers. Great food; yes, but entree familiarity wins out every time if you want to become a staple in the community. Speaking of the food, we very much enjoyed out entree and appetizers. Our food came out warm and was simply delicious. Note that if you come in on a Wednesday, their wine by the bottle, is 1/2 off. If you like Pinot Noir, I suggest the Banshee label. The prices are slightly higher, but I personally feel it fairly matches the quality of this restaurant.
