Best Romantic Restaurants in Tinley Park

The Maple Tree Inn never disappoints. I love that they offer vegan options as well as the normal offerings as that is hard to find. The service was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Everything we ordered was 10/10. The only hiccup was that the red beans & rice don’t list meat in the description but our server was able to offer the cajun rice as an alternative for our vegetarian guest. All and all, a wonderful experience and definitely a hidden gym in Chicago’s South Suburbs.

We were immediately seated, and a server arrived promptly. There was no rush to order and we needed a little time to decide. We both ordered a flight of wine, one white and the other red. All of the wines were very tasty. Our catch of the day tacos, a Mahi fish, were good. The turkey meatballs and mashed potatoes were also good. The sliders were also good. We finished with a glass of wine.

Wonderful early dinner and perfect restaurant for meeting with son and his new girlfriend. Winetasting should be a part of all memberships. It was weird I’ve been a member since forever and they just joined last month but they had winetasting privilege but my husband and I did not. I understand why but that system sucks and with there no longer being crackers or an attentive person to help discuss the wines, the cost seems really unnecessary for long time members.

This was our first visit to Francesca Fortunato, although our family is very familiar with the Mia Francesca brand. Before relocating to the East Coast, we lived in Chicago's West Loop, walking distance to the Mia Francesca West Loop location. We were frequent diners and hosted several events in the private dining space: wedding anniversary, college graduation, law school graduation celebrations and ladies' luncheons. We recently hosted our dad's memorial luncheon at Francesca's Vicinato in Tinley Park. Francesca's Fortunato lived up to Mia Francesca's exquisite brand. The restaurant is located in a lovely section of Frankfort, and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was attentive, friendly, and the food was delicious. We had a lovely holiday dinner and are grateful that we "tried something new" for the holidays. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

Portions are enough to take some home. Steak fijatas so tender and flavorful with all the veggies. Burrito dinner is enough for 2.
