- GGabriellaLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoTook my partner here for his birthday! It was a overall a great experience!! The staff was wonderful. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived so we were invited to wait at the bar which was lovely. The staff was great and attentive but not pushy. We loved the food and look forward to going another time! They have valet parking but the area doesn’t have the best parking so be sure to leave time to look for parking. We will definitely be dining there again!! Super romantic and live music playing for a bit made for a beautiful atmosphere.More infoGeja's CafePrice: Expensive• Fondue• Lincoln Park•4.8
- JJanChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Teddy Bear Tea was the perfect afternoon gathering for my daughters and grandchildren. As soon as we sat down, the kids each received their own teddy bear which made them all so happy. The food was plentiful and delicious for both adults and children. The Prosecco flowed, along with delicious tea and the kids loved both the kiddie cocktails and the hot chocolate. There were many children in the room, so no one minded when my grandchildren got overly enthusiastic and got up and danced. It was a wonderful afternoon and a great value, as well!More infoAlmaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Wrigleyville•4.2
- NNickChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoBoka is a true gem in Chicago’s culinary scene, delivering a dining experience that is as polished as it is memorable. My visit to this Michelin-starred restaurant was marked by inventive dishes, artful presentations, and attentive service that made the evening special. We began with the lightly kured kampachi, a delicate starter that balanced freshness with an umami depth. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender, complemented beautifully by subtle citrus and herbal accents. It was an excellent introduction to the meal, highlighting Boka’s focus on precision and flavor. Next came the ricotta gnudi, which was nothing short of divine. Each tender bite was a pillowy cloud of ricotta perfection, surrounded by a light, flavorful sauce that brought everything together. The dish managed to feel both decadent and restrained, showcasing a mastery of balance. The star of the meal, however, was undoubtedly the whole duck. Presented with flair and carved tableside, it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The duck was cooked to perfection—crispy, golden skin encased tender, flavorful meat that paired wonderfully with its accompaniments. It’s clear this dish is a signature for a reason, and it delivered on every promise. The atmosphere at Boka is sophisticated yet welcoming, with warm lighting and chic décor that sets the tone for an upscale yet unpretentious dining experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with excellent recommendations and thoughtful touches throughout the evening. In summary, Boka lives up to its reputation, offering a well-rounded experience that blends culinary artistry wi th impeccable service. The whole duck alone is worth a return visit, and I’m eager to explore more of what the menu has to offer. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a night to indulge in one of Chicago’s finest dining spots.More infoBokaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lincoln Park•4.8
- CcarrieVIPChicago / Illinois •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLe Colonial delivers a polished take on Vietnamese cuisine in an elegant setting. The beef pho stands out with its rich, clear broth, though it leans toward a more refined interpretation. The green curry is flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the flat noodles dish is satisfying without being overly heavy.More infoLe Colonial - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Vietnamese• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
- KkurtChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025The holiday decor is amazing. Service was great. Service and someone else who checked in on us were friendly and attentive. We went after the holiday for brunch so it was a little quiet for the neighborhood. I;m sure it's more lively at other times. A few normal breakfast type items and a few kinda sweet breakfast items. I had a nice mocktail.More infoBamboo ClubPrice: Moderate• Pizza Bar• Wrigleyville•4.3
