A&B Burgers is one of those restaurants, one that has transitioned into a dining scene based around hospitality, creative menus and a space driven by the energy of the bar. Not everyone feels like eating a burger and with that in mind, we built a menu that offers options for those times. We have guests who have been dining with us for 8 years now and have never eaten one of our award-winning burgers, instead, they enjoy sharing a few small plates to start and then order entrees with a bottle of wine. Even though Post is a new name for most of us, it has been an important part of South Hamilton history since 1924. The historic building at 16 Bay Rd. was home to the South Hamilton Post Office, and a place for residents to send and pick up letters. In response to the Great Depression, and a drop in the postage rate (from three cents to 2 cents), the Postmaster added more opportunities for residents to pick up their mail. At Post, which at the time was known as “the brick block building”, letters were piled on a table, and a bell was rung to let residents know that they could come and retrieve their mail. Keeping with that tradition, guests of Post will have an opportunity to “Ring the Bell”, which signifies that they have bought a beer for our hard working kitchen and waitstaff. One of the most carefully curated wine lists within the area. There’s a great mix of classical appellations and producers, along with, highlights of new talent and fresh styles of vinification. A lot of credit to Scott, whose affability and knowledge can always be counted on. Ledger is the perfect pairing for a wine afficanado of any standing. Food-wise, I’m always a fan of the Tuna Tartare and the Duck. I also highly recommend whatever the seasonal desert is.

Great place to celebrate! Super friendly and kind staff, they went out of their way to make my birthday that much more special. If you can get a reservation I highly recommend. Fantastic food and great service. They’re also very aware and accommodating of allergies.

Wonderful food. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Big shout out to Aaron! Seated quickly with a 6:15 reservation. It got busy quickly after that but no chaos. Next time I may just have the onion dip and homemade chips for dinner! Very tasty. Third time, will be going again. Becoming our favorite place!

Em was a fabulous server. Food was delicious. Wines were good, not fantastic, but they grew on you. Fisherman’s Platter, fish and chips and lobster roll and clam strips were enjoyed by all. Overall a lovely evening.

Our Bartender was excellent! The food was amazing! We got the steak and eggs and the breakfast wrap! Absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back! But the star was the lemon ricotta donuts served warm with homemade jam!!!
