Best Seasonal Restaurants in Broad Ripple / Meridian - Kessler

Tried the Lentil Bolognese. Server said reviews were not rave but some said good. Gave it a try. Very tasty but very uninspiring in presentation. Very little "bolognese"...teeny black beans in a tasty sauce, ladled over rigatoni. I asked for more sauce and was provided with it promptly. All four of us enjoyed our drinks, our flatbreads and dinners. Teeny desserts, always tasty. Chloe was the highlight this evening. Delightful, witty, fun and made the experience even better with her great server personality!

It was the 1st time at Cake Bake for myself and a dear friend who is just finishing up chemo. I asked our amazing server Gigi to help celebrate my friend being cancer free. Gigi and the staff went above and beyond. They brought out balloons and a card and made my friend feel like the queen she is. The food and ambience was amazing. We were both touched at the service and attention we received. Thank you Gigi and Cake Bake. Can't wait to come back! Detra and Jenny🩷

Overall a great dinner. We were seated for our reservation at a bar high top, hence the noise level rating. Wagyu Perogi appetizer was delicious. We couldn’t resist the description on the sides dishes, so we ordered 4 of them & shared. It was plenty & they were all very good, with highest score to the Field Mushroom Ragout…outstanding. Lobster BLT was tasty & fresh but a bit lacking in seasoning. Ribeye was very good times 2, Short Rib was also good, but a bit on the fatty side for the portion at our table. We took dessert to go & Chocolate Caramel Cake is very yummy. Others were probably better fresh for dine in, but also good. Will definitely go back again & looking forward to trying the Brunch Menu.

I looove this restaurant! It is so beautiful and cozy. The service was fantastic and very fast ! The host (Mac) was helpful and seated us right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. Delicious food and cocktails! Can’t wait to go back!!! Loved the brussel sprouts-to die for!! Thank you!

We did a Wine Tasting with James then Dinner with our favorite Server Casandra who took very good care of us! Many of us had the Chefs Recommendation Scallops!
