Best Seasonal Restaurants in East Austin

My husband and I dined here to celebrate his birthday which was acknowledged by all. Chip, our waiter, provided excellent service. The crab wedge salad was superb. We enjoyed the burger and tile fish too! The butterscotch pot de crème is the best dessert in Austin. We will be back!

Had a great time. Came to dine with my friend before our concert. It was my friend’s first time and he really enjoyed Perry’s. The food was outstanding. The A5 wagyu never disappoints. Our server Kyle was awesome, attentive and knew the menu very well and provided recommendations. Looking forward to next time.

Emmer & Rye was beyond our expectations. Some of the best food I have ever tasted. We sat at the chefs counter and got to watch all the preparations. The waiting staff is superb. Highly recommend this restaurant for date or special occasion.

We went for a Galentine‘s but the service really put a damper on our evening. The restaurant is small and somewhat dark, the noise level is medium so it’s great for conversation amongst friends or an intimate dinner. We had the bucatini, which was excellent. The pizza was very good as well with a crispy crust. We also ordered the shoulder, which I don’t know if I would recommend. Th ricotta whip and the short rib appetizer, both excellent. Small plates, good price point, good for sharing. The service was the only poor part of this experience. The waiter was rushing, kept asking to remove plates while we were still eating. Tossed the dessert menu apparently annoyed. Either bad day for waiter or this is their culture to rush.
