- MMatthewEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoA beautiful festive treat. We felt like we’d walked into a Parisian bistro somewhere off Place de la Republic. All the food was awesome (my bourguignon with buttery mash was delicious) and the drinks (rum old fashioned, bottle of Corbiere) were perfect. Add in an attentive service, great ambience and a wedding party, wandering through to rapturous applause, and we had everything to make this a highly memorable and enjoyable lunchtime. Highly recommended. Magnifique!More infoCafé St HonoréPrice: Very Expensive• French• New Town•4.6

- MMarionEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024We had a very enjoyable pre-theatre dinner at Southpour. The service was very good, and the menu offered something for everyone. If we’d known how generous the portions were, we probably wouldn’t have ordered starters and mains, and there was certainly no room for pudding. Overall, a very good experience.More infoSouthpourPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Musselburgh•4.1

- JjasonNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Sep 27, 2024We started off the night with drinks and canapes in the red velvet lounge before transitioning into the lovely, airy dining room. The food was so fresh and flavorful. The Aubergine and Endive were particular hits as they had really lovely textures and a range of flavors to complement the main items. The cod was luscious and spare, and the venison was delightful with its pickled radicchio, marinated bell peppers, red wine jus, and green peppercorns. Dessert was a pair of lovely dishes - one with chocolate, blackberry granita and buckwheat and finally a lovely, savory honey cookie bar with a douglas fir dusting. The wine list was quite affordable and we had a lovely Viognier with our first couple courses. Great spot, beautiful vibes and great food. What a lovely place to kick off a trip to Scotland!More infoBonnar's at The ScottPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Newington•5
