We've been serving the people of Braintree and beyond since 2015 and in that time have humbly become ‘one of Essex’s best restaurants.’ We have received recognition from the AA, having been awarded an AA Rosette for ‘culinary excellence’ for five consecutive years, and then in 2023 we received our second rosette, putting the restaurant amongst the top 10 restaurants in Essex.     The chicken curry does not have the flavour of a tradition curry from a Chinese restaurant the sauce is more a Tai flavour . Tonight our rice was put into a small bowl when before it has been in a lidded round box . The box keeps rice hotter . And it was difficult to dish up from the small bowl . The restaurant can also be very noisy .. the big round tables should be near each other and tables for 2 people should be on the other side ..

    We were a table of 18 dining to celebrate a birthday. Without asking we were offered the private dining room upstairs and having ordered in advance all the adult meals everything just ran so smoothly. From the moment we were greeted at the door we were made to feel welcome, valued and comfortable. The service was brilliant and relaxed in a great way with 6 children to cater for too. Nothing was too much trouble and the birthday sundae wowed us all! Thank you Nicole and all the team. You did a wonderful job.

    I went with my two daughters , we all thought the food was excellent , my daughters had the vegetarian dish which they said was superb , I had the skate wing which was delicious . The starter of onion and goats cheese tart was gorgeous
