Their Friday lunch specials have been great food at a great value. The atmosphere there is relaxing and the staff very friendly. I have been there for my anniversary, night out with my wife, and business and it is a perfect location for any occasion. There are so many restaurants in the NEnd and it can be hard to standout but Mare is unique from all the other N.End Italian restaurants. Seafood centric but not just, it has something for everyone. It isn't your checkered cloth, red sauce, restaurant so if that's what you want you will find a couple dozen other spots that would fit the bill down the street. But if you are looking for some of the best seafood fused with Italian cuisine, great drinks, a broad wine list across multiple price points, cool vibes, and intimate dining experience with terrific staff then this is your place. I highly recommendMore infoMarePrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.7

- DDanielvipGreater Boston •31 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024This was our second visit to Tresca. For the first, we were privileged to sit at Table 77 (this was the jersey number of former Boston Bruin Ray Bourque who is part owner of this establishment), the lone balcony table overlooking Hanover Street. This time, we dined in the main restaurant which was pleasant. We had a pair of gift cards to apply towards dinner. It turns out, the vendor of one of the cards had gone out of business, rendering the card invalid. The manager visited our table to explain and offered to comp the expired card as a courtesy. In return, we gave the entire amount to our waitress Sydney for a job-well-done. The food was excellent and I especially enjoyed Anna Maria's meatball appetizer. Can't wait to return!More infoTrescaPrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.7

All dishes consumed by my party were amazing. I strongly recommend the ossobuco with saffron risotto!More infoMamma MariaPrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.8
