Best Seasonal Restaurants in Jackson Heights

Our server was so attentive to my daughter’s allergies and making sure we had the best experience. The Peking duck was delicious with crispy skin. My only issue was the setup of a 10 person table behind me that resulted in me being knocked around by people navigating the tight squeeze.

Servers at the restaurant were great. So were the hostesses inside. Food and tea were delicious as always. The gal checking reservations at the entrance to the hotel to admit guests inside could use a refresher in customer service. How about welcome guests warmly with a smile? Say hello or good morning? Make eye contact? Literally anything other than the cold front she put on. Maybe she hates her job? For paying $500+ for tea time lunch you shouldn’t act like we’re inconveniencing you. She also didn’t offer the lift for my stroller and just watched us struggle carrying it up the stairs and no one grabbed the door to help. They stand on the stairs looking down on people trying to come inside like they’re better than everyone else. That part is odd.

BG is great. I had the scallops again and they were perfect. The other items in the menu were delicious and their great choices. This is one of our favorite places in New York. Even though it’s in a department store it’s a great restaurant.

This restaurant is more than a dining spot—it's an experience. Perfect for a romantic dinner, celebratory brunch, or simply a treat for yourself, it checks every box. With its exceptional staff and unparalleled view of Central Park, it’s no wonder diners leave with full hearts and happy palates. Five stars, without question.
