Best Seasonal Restaurants in Kapaa

This is our fourth trip to Kauai and the first time visiting this restaurant and the plantation grounds. By far after a week here on the island, this was our best meal hands-down. The Crudo appetizer is absolutely phenomenal and the best we've ever had anywhere.  The fresh catch of the day entrée was equally phenomenal as were the craft cocktails we had. We sat at an outside table looking out to the plantation grounds, which are beautiful and I recommend outside seating if you can get it. This restaurant was a complete surprise to us so I am hoping this review will entice some of you to put this on your list as this will be a definite stop for us going forward every time we visit the island. 

Hualani's not only had a beautiful atmosphere but also the food was outstanding. We had five starters and all were incredible but if I had to say, which was best, it was the lobster tempura and the scallops. The Wagyu steak and lobster was delicious followed by a warm chocolate molten cake with peppermint ice cream.  We are absolutely returning here. Tristan was an attentive server as well.

I took my small family of 3 here for Christmas Eve dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced all things considered. Everything tastes fresh and professionally prepared. Service was a little delayed due to the holiday, but we were overall very pleased with our dinner. Amazing food, beautiful view, and a really welcoming ambiance. We will happily return should the occasion ever arise. The Hula Pie is literally to die for and makes a great addition to any dish you order. All in all, a great experience for me and my family!

The food was fantastic. We had the filet, short ribs and grilled catch of the day. My daughter has a nut allergy so the manager was kind enough to ask chef to make an exception to his plate regarding her entree. Thank you!! It was delicious! Everything was fantastic! Try the fillet and the homage sorbets, they are wonderful!! Great atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff. Thank you for such a nice experience! We will be back!! ❤️❤️❤️

From the moment Art our waiter greeted us, we felt very comfortable. The food was excellent. Great lay out and the sportsmen’s of food was great. The nature Thanksgiving dinner and experience was superb. Please give a shout out to Art as he is #1!
