We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London.     We visited the restaurant for my husband's birthday. The staff was nice and the food was nice too with fresh ingredients and unique flavours. The restaurant was cozy.

    Was not sure whether to give it 3 stars. The staff is lovely and the ambiance is really good, but the food is not mind-blowing. The bread leaves a lot to wish for and it took 30 minutes for them to bring our second course, which made us quite impatient... None of the staff apologised or acknowledged this was the case. I had a hard time finding actual meat in the cotoletta we were served which was essentially just a big block of breaded fat... The pasta was very good. Cocktails were ok. I'd say go for the vibe and maybe the pasta. Don't know that I'll be going back
