Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. The centerpiece of our first dining room is our 8-seat, 200-year-old hinoki wood sushi bar and traditional ice chest, where Chef Noz refrigerates the evening's neta selections. We plan our trip to NYC around eating at Carmine’s. This time we ate at the upper West Side location. We usually eat at the Times Square location. But this year it was booked solid for Christmas a month in advance. We were wowed again with an awesome meal at Carmines at 91st Street. We had the garlic bread with cheese. We always ask to add the cheese. So wonderful. We also split the lasagna. It is the best we have ever tasted. We brought over half of it home. I would recommend either Carmine’s to anyone wanting authentic Italian food at its best.

Each piece of sushi was prepared with the utmost care, showcasing the chef’s incredible skill and dedication to the craft. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the pairing of flavors was both innovative and harmonious. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Our first time at Sistina and we will return again. The restaurant is extraordinarily beautiful and the noise levels are low. The wait staff and everyone e working ate extremely friendly and professional. The staff was patient and accommodating.The food was excellent.. Absolutely perfect and 5 Star.
