Best Seasonal Restaurants in Ocean View

We have been dining at One Coastal for many years, predating the arrival of James Beard Award Finalist Chef Matt Kern. We were so delighted that after One Coastal changed hands we were able to enjoy the same unrivaled, creative, fresh Delaware cuisine. Tonight our family ordered the duck and the rockfish. Both were expertly executed. The flavor profiles of both dishes were unusual, cohesive, and delightful. My husband and I both enjoyed our cocktails, a Duchess and a Ryanhatten. I’ve been here many times. Great service but was somewhat disappointed on the Fish Stew. It’s off season so maybe my expectations were too high.

Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner here. It was delicious. Everyone we encountered was lovely. We topped it off with some ice skating afterward. It was a fun Thanksgiving!

We really enjoyed our meal here with a perfect view of the sunset over the bay. The crab cakes were outstanding and we also thoroughly enjoyed a selection of oysters and authentic boardwalk fries! The kitchen was very accommodating to a dietary restriction in our group, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The restaurant was just opening at the end of our vacation, or we probably would have worked our way through the whole menu night after night. By far, the best meal we had on our trip! Keep in mind they are just getting up and running, so if you encounter a few kinks (we didn’t), cut them some slack and have another round of drinks while you take in the view.
