Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more.     Our experience was very good. From the moment you walk in there is no question that it is an extremely unique space. From the lighting to the decor, everything was stunning. I’m happy to say the food matched the ambience. We loved the dishes we ordered. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delightful. The service was amazing as well. Very excited to go back in the summer and enjoy the rooftop patio.

    My son and his girlfriend treated me for My birthday. He wanted to try just about everything. We ordered a Rioja salad which I loved and we ordered 1/2 orders of the pastas just to try them all. The 2 favorites were the pappardelle with pork and the artichoke tortelloni. We ordered the bacon wrapped cod, the braised short rib (my favorite) and the octopus which was soft and cooked to perfection as entrees. Dessert was a butterscotch buddino and the chocolate citrus mousse. All was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Super friendly staff as well and very attentive. Would highly recommend giving Rioja a try.

    Exceptional dinner! The seafood tasting menu was wonderful but come hungry because it’s a lot of food. The wine recommendation was perfect. The pork tenderloin was cooked beautifully and the lamb/beef ragu was rich, decadent and delightfully seasoned. Don’t skip the home made focaccia!
