Best Seasonal Restaurants in Yonge and Eglinton

We came in somewhat skeptical after feeling underwhelmed with Alobar and Alouette but Alo impressed on all fronts. Alo had incredibly friendly and effective serving staff and noise was kept to a comfortable conversational volume. The food was incredible and service was timed impeccably so you never felt that you were waiting nor rushed. There were zero misses with the plates and at least half of them will go down as all time favourites for myself. The seafood dishes in particular (of which there were many) were well balanced with exceptionally high quality ingredients. 10/10 I plan on going again in the future.

They brought us prosecco on the house since it was our anniversary. The burrata dish was the best I have ever had. Overall, one of the best dining experiences I have had. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing food and great service. The lobster spaghetti was top class. Our waitress gave an excellent wine paring for the pasta and she was extremely good with the way she made us feel welcomed. We were there for my wife’s birthday, and they accommodated us with a sparkler and a personal birthday wish note, which added a nice touch to the whole evening. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely visit again !

This restaurant deserves all the accolades it has received and should continue to receive. We went last night for continued birthday celebrations for my son and we couldn’t have chosen a better way to cap it all off. Not only was the food exceptional, the service was beyond. A glass was never empty, the napkins were always folded the moment you got up from the table, the pace of dishes and clean up between courses was never hesitant. There was no pretentiousness, just a good time and seamless execution. And thank you for listening to your clients. The birthday wishes were so appreciated. Thank you.

We were there celebrating a friend’s birthday which happened to be Valentine’s Day hoping to order from regular menu but they only had a Valentine’s Day special that we had to order from which we were not made aware of when we booked. It was pricier than what we would have spent and not the food we would have ordered. However it was all very good and service was great.
