Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in French Lick

Really a remarkable meal. The brussel sprouts were fabulous. The chocolate dessert with the 'sticks' of roasted meringue, was the best dessert I've ever had. Only minor complaint I had was - it's too dark in the place. I get the ambiance low light. Looking around the restaurant as we had dinner I noticed others - particularly the more mature element of diners, who were the majority on Christmas evening, were moving, bending & directing the menus and some had their phones out lighting them up to read. Josh did a fantastic job preparing the beaf Wellington.

We dine out at top restaurants around the country on a fairly regular basis and were very impressed with 1875 steakhouse food truly wasn’t exceptional . Our server Dakota was a bubbly, energetic, a new mom who was attentive and had a friendly demeanor without being intrusive. Would highly recommend the restaurant and asked for Dakota by name she’s great !

Another fabulous experience at C3! Tasty food/cocktails and superb service! One of the gems of our little town, for sure!

As usual great food and great service. Busy but was seated before our reservation time.

I had the Dorothy menu (Wizard of Oz playing next door), stuffed eggplant/parmesan -- outstanding! Service just attentive enough. Everything was fine. The TV in the distance is a little distracting but with practice can be ignored. It's a great place, totally reliably excellent (and superb spinach!!)
