Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Leon Springs

Was there for the Friday Lunch Pork Chop special. As always the pork chop and sides were fantastic. Service is always on point and iced tea was brewed to perfection. Because of the special, front lobby and whole restaurant was very busy and seating felt tight. Overall tho, I would definitely go back again as no one delivers a pork chop like Perry’s and at $19 it’s a bargain!

Vibe was great, bourbon selection was amazing, food was fantastic (save room for the whiskey cake dessert), waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, even had the manager come to our table to check on our evening. Will be frequently visiting again and again!

Great experience celebrating birthday. The salmon appetizer was delicious. Short rib risotto and Morel Filet were both done perfectly and tasted great. The best part was the New York cheesecake, one of the best we've had. Juan Paolo's (spelling?) service was impeccable, and he recommended a superb bottle of wine. Would definitely dine here again for a special occasion.

Our server was Gracie, she was very sweet and we loved how she interacted with us. We each ordered a few appetizers which were amazing. I had the halibut, which was unlike anything I’ve tasted. Also enjoyed a few drinks which were top tier. This was my in laws first time here and they really enjoyed themselves. We always love a great culinary experience. Everything was excellent, which is why we keep coming back.

There is a reason why some restaurants become a classic stable in the fine dining scene in San Antonio and it begins with the service and attention to customer requests. We have loved this establishment for decades and were very concerned when their transformation to a very different location was first announced. But, no worries. It is the same superior service and attention to the wants and wishes of their diners which sets this restaurant above the majority. I was painfully reminded of this fact all of NYE week, when many established restaurants could not perform well. We are so very delighted to for the recent return of Friday lunches. Just another reason why Fridays are my favorite day of the week.
