Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Mason

We took our family to dinner and had a wonderful time. We had the crab cakes and calamari to start which were delicious. Then most of us had steaks were were very good too! Carrot cake and Creme brûlée were very good too! Our waiter, Jason was awesome and so were the young men helping him. Our water glasses were never empty which is important in my family. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Overall it was a great experience in all areas. Of course we saw the menu before we made the reservations so we knew it would be pricey. They seated us at our reservation time and a warm welcome. The server was great, Heather, and she knew the menu well and could answer our questions. The food and variety was excellent, prepared as requested, and very tasty! We had the Australian and domestic waygu and thought the Australian was better just as the server stated. The corn brûlée was amazing as was our raclatte appetizer. All was spot on and I think the best in the city.

Went for a date night because we received a gift card. Had already been for their amazing Happy Hour. Just going for dinner was new to us. We made reservations, had a drink at the bar and were seated quickly. The staff was spectacular!!! Food was great! Just to be constructive, if I had to point out anything that could be better….. we would like to have seen more appetizers. Very small shareable menu that would have had us there longer and spend more money. We would probably stick to Happy Hour only because we like to share stuff sometimes. The other thing…. A butter knife with the bread and butter would be awesome. It’s hard to spread butter with a steak knife. Overall, loved it.

It was my wife's 71st birthday. She had the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon. She loved it. I had a taste and I agreed. I had the Surf & Turf and selected the Prime Churrasco Grilled Steak and the Ahi Tuna. First, the carrots and mushrooms were delicious. The Tuna was great, especially with the ginger and horseradish sauce. The steak was a little gutty, cooked well and had a good taste overall but I wasn't overly impressed. The potatoes were good but nothing to brag about. We had a bottle of their Malbec, very nice. A little over priced and I thought there was a little too much pushing on the wine club. I was surprised that there was not even a small token desert for my wife's birthday. And when we were well into our dinner we realized that we never got any bread before dinner. Overall though I would go back, but I'll be a little more demanding. I prefer a laid back approach and expect to get great service across the board from start to finish. Our waiter was courteous prompt and we did not have to wait for anything.

We dined at 5 PM on a Friday and it was very quiet, very welcomed! Food was incredible! Fried Chicken was amazing and the Braised Short Ribs were incredible, but the carrot cake was the star of the show! Amazing venue and great food and atmosphere!
