Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Merced

We always have a wonderful time . The food is amazing. You are greeted from the time you enter the front door. They open the door for coming and leaving. This staff works so well together. One of my favorite places. We travel 3 hours to have special occasion dinner. Love it . Thank you to the entire staff. Nancy Martin

The staff and chef at the Elderberry House excited our expectations! Each dish was beautifully prepared and presented with elegance.

The Valentine Dinner was remarkable. It was a four course meal and we had the tomato bisque soup with balsamic drizzle, which sounds wearied but it added a complementing flavor; bacon wrap shrimp, which has a great smoky flavor and the shrimp was cooked perfectly; the Halibut dinner which had a sauce that complemented the halibut and potatoes and the halibut was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth; and for desert we has a light a fluffy tiramisu, which was also delicious. In addition the service was excellent and attentive.

Veronas is always consistently above average. Specials (sole and ravioli) are always delicious and well presented. Service is excellent (Maria👍)

Amazing experience to eat at this establishment. Very formal dining design and had the great pleasure to enjoy live entertainment with a live singer during our time we spent eating. Very friendly and welcoming staff who made the experience delightful.
