    Incredible as always. Luke recommended a gin I’ve never had before, which was fantastic. Ellen took great care of us the whole night—and made sure we had some extra popcorn to take home. BTW, the popcorn is always fantastic, but tonight was above and beyond. Sun dried tomato and Parmesan… The pace was perfect, the view is always a treat, and the food is top tier. Get the lamb shank. There is a reason why Altius is known as a top 3 restaurant in Pittsburgh, if not the absolute best. Worth every penny.

    It was my wife's birthday, we were seated at the window, as I was pleasantly surprised. It was a comfortable non-rushed dinner. We chose the lobster arancini appetizer and it was perfect. The filet was off the charts and could cut it with a fork. Our server was a real people person, friendly and very attentive. I thanked the maitr'd for seating us at a window table and complemented him on his choice of music. It was a very enjoyable evening from start to finish!

    We went to OTARU for my husband’s birthday and it did not disappoint. We ordered two appetizers: jalepeno yellowtail and the chicken gyoza. Both very delicious! My husband ordered a variety of nigiri and I order the OTARU course. All of the fish was fresh, served quickly, and was explained in detail as it arrived to our table. Our server, Angela, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, gave great suggestions about our meal, and very personable. The view was lovely and overall the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back to visit again!

    I had a wonderful experience this visit. It was my birthday and I was treated very special. Every staff member wished me a happy birthday. The chef sent a small.appetizer with his compliments. The waiter was very attentive and took our photo at the end and put it in a small from. He sang happy birthday and gave me a card with a $25 gift certificate. We were very pleased with our experience.
