Prepared beverages were pretty darn good, too. You could just tell everyone in the restaurant was having a great time, enjoying the meal, and glad they came. I'm guessing they'll all be back. I know we will!More infoDaniel George Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Birmingham•4.9

- BBryanVIPAlabama •87 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had not eaten here is awhile and we certainly enjoyed our meal and drinks at the bar. Cocktails were prepared expertly and the appetizers were delicious: Baked oysters and fried green tomatoes with remoulade sauce were excellent. The shrimp and grits with a white wine sauce and cherry tomatoes was a great choice and the fried oyster plate was perfectly prepared. The blueberry cobbler was good as well. We decided to make plans to eat here more often!More infoBistro VPrice: Moderate• American• Birmingham•4.8

- MMariaAtlantic Canada •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024Galley and Garden is an oasis of calm and warmth on a hilltop of Birmingham. From the moment we arrived and had our coats checked, throughout the entire meal, we felt a calmness and warmth that erased the rainy, cold days of traveling Birmingham and the surrounding area. I enjoyed the salmon. My husband enjoyed his steak. The wine selection was very good. The key lime pie served in a martini glass was a perfect size dessert for two of us to share. Our waiter and other staff were very attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. We were seated in the room to the right of the bar area. Very nice decor and ambiance. We would definitely return.More infoGalley and GardenPrice: Moderate• American• Birmingham•4.8
