In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. We had dinner at Matador with 2 friends. The place is small but it was full. We ate 3 super burritos and they were HUGE. We ordered the tacos as well and three drinks: two “paloma” and one “desconocido”. Everything was amazing!

Tandoori prawns and chicken tikki Marsala are so good, especially with some naan to dip up sauce from the chicken . Everything delicious and staff outstanding

As always, the location had plenty of parking and wasn't too crowded. We made Priority reservations, in advance, through OpenTable. We were seated within 2-3 minutes upon arrival for dinner. Our meal consisted of the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, 1lb snow crab, salmon dinner, and I had the Lobster Punch for my cocktail. Everything came out hot and appealing to eat. Our server was a little more attentive with others than to my Mother and I, but other staff stepped in when necessary.
