This was our second visit to Shaya...and just like our first visit, we loved our meal. We enjoyed three of the dips: Babaganoush, Ikra, and another that had anchovies. They were all amazing! Of course, the fresh, warm pitas would make anything taste yummy! Next we had the hummus with fried chicken. It was good, but wish we had gotten the hummus with lamb ragu which we had last time and it was truly outstanding. We enjoyed a salad, that could have been cut up a bit more. It was sort of messy to get onto your plate and eat. It was good, but nothing special. Finally we enjoyed the hanger steak and potatoes. Delicious! Tender. Juicy. Just really good. They have great wine selections and the service was appropriately attentive without being annoying. We will definitely return if we come back to NOLA.

Been dying to try this place and it exceeding our expectations. The soft buns with hot sausage were *close your eyes and chewing* kinda moment. My bf order another batch! Need to go back when it’s cooler and try the pho and wings! Maybe even sit outside it looks cute in the back!
