Best Vegan Restaurants in Lafayette

We almost always eat in Oakland, Berkeley and SF because it's hard to find good food and flavors through the tunnel. Hideout nails it. The lamb shank, the fried chicken, the squash all as good as you get in the City. Delicious. Could still use some work on their craft cocktails, but the food was excellent.

We love the food and enjoyed great meals today at lunch. I got there early so I could ask the hostess to please note my grand daughter was home from college and it is her birthday. She said she would inform our server….. I knew my grand daughter would choose a chocolate dessert, which she did + her Mum and I also enjoyed our desserts. GREAT disappointment when 3 desserts arrived NO candle !!!!! Of course I didn’t make a fuss , however I wanted to !! The special moment was over and I left your restaurant feeling let down. We all love coming to True Food Kitchen in Walnut Crerk CA because we love the food and I knew when I told our grand daughter that’s where we would be having lunch….. she was, as expected …. excited. Please get through to your hostesses that some requests mean a great deal and they need to follow through !!! Antoinette ☹️

Locanda Poitano Keeps raising prices for the same dishes. My favorite dish has gone from 17.95 to 26.95 in past months. 2023-2024. Where does it end? When doses this restaurant start to give value to its customers? Sitting outside in the rain recently was not a GREAT experience. Water was not being controlled around the edges of the entries into the restaurant.

We had a great time. There was a little misunderstanding but the waiter corrected it to our satisfaction right away!

Fantastic food! Chicken satay, vegetarian salad, yummy beef dishes, etc. Lengthy lunch menu to choose from. Server honored our request to sit in a much quieter area. We will be back!
