“A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. Food overall was good. The Welsh rarebit for starters was good as was the roast for mains, although it could have more gravy, which wasn’t a problem when we asked for more. Service and attention to detail could be better. They forgot two of our starters which they apologised and deducted our starters from the bill. Water carafe and wine was neglected, which should be automatically topped up. Plus I asked for the heating to be turned on otherwise we would’ve kept our coats on. If they can refine those small details, then it would deserve 5 stars.

Like most people I had to have the lasagne my only criticism would be was that it wasn’t piping hot but taste was amazing.
