Best Vegan Restaurants in Westlake

We went here for my cousins birthday dinner. I have been hearing good things and have been wanting to try it out. WOW Bestia did not disappoint! We sat at the counter, they were booked up for standard seating and I see why now. Each seat was filled in the restaurant, on a Tuesday night! I would highly recommend Bestia to any LA native or anyone visiting LA. I can’t wait to go back. Service and food was impressive.

Really delicious food in a warm inviting space. The menu is small but excels at what it makes. The pastas were fresh, we had the salmon tartare which was fantastic as well as the zucchini blossom. The serve wine and beer, no cocktails, not they do have a nice selection of mock tails that don’t rely on overpriced fruit juices.

The food was divine and the ambience was very energetic. We sat in the garden this time and it was such a beautiful space. It’s a great place to catch up with old friends and take your time conversing. All the staff were also really sweet and understanding so if you’re running a little late like we were, just let them know and they’ll try their best to accommodate.

We went for Sunday brunch and sat out on their nice patio. It wasn’t very crowded. We were seated right away and our server came up right away to assist us and she was lovely. We ordered drinks, and espresso martini, and their highlighted cocktail, which was excellent. We ordered the Mediterranean platter and we were able to exchange the Labneh for muhamara since my friend was lactose intolerant. The waitress was very cognizant of that and made sure that nothing had dairy in it. We also ordered the Cleopatra salad and that was really nice. We had the olive oil cake for dessert and it was nice and moist and sweet. Overall, an excellent meal and I hope to be back.
