- CCedarVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhen I think of Carytown the first place that comes to mind is Can Can Brasserie. And like fine wine, it’s gotten better with age. From arrival to check we were made to feel like VIP. The drinks top tier, an extensive champagne list including vintages from 2000 and beyond. Even when ordering bread the food is always plated beautifully and creates an atmosphere all on its own. For brunch do the Quiche Du Jour and French Toast. And for Dinner you have to do the Scallops. Non-negotiable on that. They are life changing.More infoCan Can BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Richmond•4.6

Their hospitality and Southern charm most definitely would make me come again. I was visiting from Chicago and was not disappointed.More infoThe Daily Kitchen and Bar Restaurant-CarytownPrice: Moderate• American• Richmond•4.5

- GGregVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is an amazing place - unknown to us before trying on Valentine's Day. The inside space is elegant and inviting, with table spacing that allows quiet and private conversation. Service is attentive but not overbearing, with occasional visits by the manager. Bar drinks were surprisingly tasty and original - we had the Shanes Strawberry Lemonade and Bloody Mary. We tried the Apple Pecan Salad, Shrimp 'n Grits, and Southern Cajun Pasta. If you're a fan of shrimp - both entrees had some of the best we've ever had. They were crunchy, juicy, spicy and plentiful. The pasta dish wasn't overly saucy and loaded with shrimp and fresh crabmeat. We can't wait to go back!More infoSouthern KitchenPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Richmond•4.5

We also had the steak and potato soup. It was soooo good. Our entrees were scrumptious as well. Our server was helpful and most attentive. The atmosphere made my Valentine’s Day special.More infoTarrant's WestPrice: Moderate• American• Richmond•4.4
