Best Vegan Restaurants in Molino del Rey

Ths is my second booking within a couple of weeks and both times me and my guests were only offered the same table outside under a tent where is gets chilly. Not my idea of a nice dining experience. Although it is a lovely restaurant with great food, Roma Norte is full of great options where I don’t have to sit under a tent.

Last minute reservation and Gardela did not disappoint. We ordered tomato salad, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, empenadas, and bife picaña, for 2 people. The taste was good, a little salty. Portion sizes were large. The ambience is fabulous. The service is really standout; recognition to our services Adiel and David.

This is an awesome experience and a great opportunity to learn about the various types of Mezcals and Mole sauces. Be ready to drink though as they serve you 7 different mezcal, each artistanlly crafted with very unique flavor profiles. These are expertly paired with little tasters of different mole sauces. The place can be tricky to find since there is no sign outside. Follow Google maps to the address and ring the doorbell.

Visiting CDMX on vacation. Enjoyed the Pork Belly sandwich and Shoyu soup restaurant. Our waiter Ernesto was excellent. He was able to explain the menu and help us decide on the starters, main course, and drinks.

The waiters were so attentive and everything we ordered was delicious!
