One of Philly’s Best Sushi Spots! 🍣 If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful sushi in Philly, Tomo Sushi & Ramen absolutely delivers. I’ve been to plenty of sushi spots around the city, and this one ranks among the best. Plus, with their new expansion, there’s more space to sit back, relax, and enjoy some seriously good food. Here’s what I had: 🍣 Tomo: Spicy tuna roll with avocado, cilantro, and seared tuna – Super fresh, great balance of heat and creaminess, and the cilantro added a nice pop. 🍤Red Shrimp Shrimp tempura roll topped with seared spicy tuna & sweet miso sauce – Crispy, flavorful, and that miso sauce tied everything together perfectly. 🐟 Yellowtail with scallion – Simple, clean, and ridiculously fresh. 🦪 Spicy scallop roll – Buttery, tender, and packed with umami. 🍜 Miso soup – Honestly, one of the best I’ve had. Deep, rich, and full of flavor. Everything was beautifully prepared, super fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell the chefs at Tomo really care about their ingredients and presentation. Final verdict: Tomo is easily one of the best sushi spots in Philly. Fresh fish, great flavors, and now with even more space to enjoy it all. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our meal! Both our host and server were very welcoming and friendly, made great recommendations on their favorite dishes, and didn't rush us out after we finished eating. Each and every dish was fully-flavored and well-executed. I appreciate that the focus is on the seasonal produce itself, in preparations that highlight their best qualities without relying on things like seitan, tempeh, or other "meat substitutes." Hearty, Italian-inspired, but with some really fun, smart, and surprising flavor combinations. Some of our favorites included the focaccia (and specifically the XO sauce on top), the radicchio salad with smoky olives, tortelloni, parsnip milanese, and buffalo murasaki sweet potatoes. Both desserts that we tried (the chocolate dessert and sweet potato pie) were also a hit! I'm eager to come back as the seasons change to see what else they'll come up with!

The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! The drinks were so good too!

We had a great time. Beer was terrific and the food was very good. Will definitely return.
