Nami Nori is a casual, Japanese restaurant specializing in open-style temaki hand rolls, located in Montclair.     We had an excellent diner for our recent wedding anniversary at Matisse. The timing between courses was spot on and the food was great. My wife and I shared everything, so we got to try most things on the menu and the highlights for us included the crudo, the octopus, the cajun pasta, the sea bass, cheesecake and the creme brulee. What makes this place even more special was the service from Adrian and front of house team. We will definitely be back again.

    Zeugma never disappoints! The lovely setting, service and incredible dishes! There were 3 in my party and we each ordered and devoured the Mushroom Manti! This 130 year old recipe is a must! Can’t wait to visit again soon🥂

    My partner and I recently visited Nami Nori for the first time, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel. One of the biggest highlights for me was that the entire menu is gluten free, which is such a rare and wonderful find! The food was nothing short of exceptional—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, well-balanced flavors. The signature temaki (hand rolls) were the perfect combination of crispy nori, perfectly seasoned rice, and high-quality fillings. Every bite was a delight! The service was also outstanding. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about the dining experience and take pride in what they do. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, Nami Nori is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend.

    I love this restaurant. Just had another wonderful meal here. Very reasonable prices for high quality delicious food—every time. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The scallops I had last night were the best I’ve ever eaten. Service and meal presentation are spot on. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this fav restaurant.
