- RRayVIPWashington, D.C. Area •31 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAlthough the meals are a little pricey, the ambiance and the staff are super. They have plenty of staff that move through the restaurant in a precise choreographic manner, with great attention paid to the customers. No one is standing around and everyone has their unique assignments. Edgar, our wait staff was exceptional, thoroughly explaining the different dish options and very knowledgable about the wine pairings. The food is excellent along with the wine pairings. There is a choice between a four and seven-course meal. While they say each course is small, it is still quite a lot of food. We barely got through the four-course meal. The wine pairings were also very good and well-matched with each course. They told us that they pour 2 ounces of wine per course, but it is a very generous 2 ounces. And definitely do not miss the desserts. They are light and exceptionally delicious. Excellent place for an intimate date or special occasion with your spouse. Highly recommend it.More infoRania DCPrice: Very Expensive• Indian• Penn Quarter•4.7
- CClaudiaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoHere’s your review with the chef’s tasting menu details: — I’m still on a high from this meal—absolutely incredible! We did the chef’s tasting menu, which took us on a journey through 10 different dishes, each one more amazing than the last. As a Peruvian, I can confidently say this place nails the flavors while elevating them in the best way. The lomo saltado was perfection, the ají de gallina was rich and comforting, the arroz chaufa had that perfect smoky wok flavor, and the causa was beautifully balanced and fresh. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. And let’s talk about the pisco cocktails—perfectly crafted, smooth, and dangerously good. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. The ambience? Just as amazing. Warm, inviting, and the perfect backdrop for such a special meal. And for the sheer quality and variety of food we got, the value was unreal. I left so happy, so full, and already dreaming about my next visit. If you love Peruvian food (or just insanely good food in general), you need to eat here!More infoChina ChilcanoPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Penn Quarter•4.7

The Oyamel margarita was delicious as were the tocos and rice w mushrooms and Brussel sprout sides. The tres leches dessert was incredible! Overall, and excellent dining experience enhanced by the care of Melvin. We will return soon!More infoOyamelPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Penn Quarter•4.6
- RRonitVIPMiami - Dade •18 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe dined at The Smith in DC twice for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we returned for lunch the next day! The food was delicious and fresh, with a menu that perfectly suits an American-style restaurant. The staff was very accommodating, and the pricing was moderately valued. We were very satisfied with every visit. Staying at the hotel across the street made it even more convenient. I only wish I had taken food photos to capture how great everything looked! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in DC from Miami!More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
- GGeetaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •95 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAmazing amazing amazing - can’t wait to go back. Usually reviews are about the food - which was truly wonderful in taste and presentation and accommodation of gluten intolerance - but service can often enhance or ruin a meal. And in this case the service only enhanced our experience so thanks for a great birthday evening, and the chance to contribute to the victims of the tragic LA wildfires.More infoMoon Rabbit by Kevin TienPrice: Very Expensive• Vietnamese• Washington•4.8
