I’d been hesitant in the past, wondering if it could live up to authentic Italian cuisine. Let me tell you, it absolutely does. The owners are from Rome, and it shows in every dish—they’ve brought the essence of Italian (Roman) cooking right to the heart of Cupertino. The Canneloni special was so so good. The waiter recommended it and we were on the fence but OMG it was so good. The flavors were perfectly balanced, my daughter's pizza was fresh, my friend's spaghetti with clams was so so good. We were all impressed by this place. As for the Panna Cotta, it was silky, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. I am not a dessert type of person and I even loved it! The service was excellent, too. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They made the whole dining experience feel effortless and enjoyable. The main owner Mr. Luciano came to talk to us, told us his story of living in the US and being from Rome and we had such a great time talking to him. He was funny and warm. The ambiance is informal and perfect for famlies. If you’re looking for authentic Roman cuisine in the Bay Area, this is the place to go. La Pizzeria delivers on every front, and I can’t wait to go back!. Highly recommend!More infoLa Pizzeria - CupertinoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Cupertino•4.5

Service was attentive but a bit "cold" though this was not an issue. Overall, a delightful meal. Would highly recommend a visit.More infoChez TJPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Mountain View•4.7

While the prices have inched up,so it has in the other fine restaurants in Silicon Valley. I will return!More infoCascalPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• Mountain View•4.7
- MMicheleSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI was in town visiting family for Christmas, all Assyrian immigrants from Iraq, who are very discerning when it comes to "good food." I've not been here in over 10yr, but it has always been my favorite restaurant. I brought the entire family for lunch on 12/26/24. Carlos was our waiter. We had a table of 14 that included three children under 4yr and three teenagers (who asked for I don't know how many refills). I know; we were a lot. The food was not only exceptional, it came out hot, and it came out quickly. Very impressive. I heard at least 4-5 relatives comment on the hummus being "next level," and let me tell you, that is a HUGE compliment from a family of amazing chefs. Carlos was just a wonderful, effcient, and patient server. I waited tables at the Crow's Nest when I was earning my teaching credential, so I know how hard serving a large (loud, needy) party can be, and he never missed a mark. (I hope you use him to train all your new servers).More infoDishdash SunnyvalePrice: Moderate• Middle Eastern• Sunnyvale•4.9
