The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. We stock a wide choice of wines by the glass, cask conditioned ales, lagers and ciders. Our guests can enjoy dining in our cosy bar or restaurant areas. We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads. There are two dining spaces at Cotswold House, as well as an option to have lunch or dinner at our sister property The Noel Arms directly opposite.The juxtaposition of our relaxed Cocktail Bar area and sophisticated Hidcote Brasserie & Grill restaurant creates a two-concept dining experience. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. Dogs are welcome too. Hidcote Brasserie & Grill is a little more sedentary, romantic even, and is located in a beautiful high ceilinged Regency room. Lovely pre- theatre meal. Prompt service and food was excellent. Pork belly and chicken with sides of hispi cabbage and green beans followed by treacle tart and cheeseboard. All excellent. On the pricey side but worth it!

We had a family meal to celebrate a birthday. The staff were polite and extremely efficient. The ambiance in the restaurant was lively and family oriented. The food, as always was absolutely delicious and plentiful. We had a truly, lovely evening. Thank you :-)

Reasonably priced food for the portion size and quality. Mains are quite big, especially burgers and fish and chips (if on their menu). All good is seasonal and fresh and you definitely can taste it! A great range of drinks using local suppliers

The food and drinks for lunch were good and the service was friendly and reasonably efficient, just a little slow at times. They dealt well with one food allergy and overall, we were pleased to Kavenagh lunch there.
