Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country.     We had change of plans and arrived 45 minutes ahead of out reservation but were happily seated! Our server was super attentive and the food was delicious, just the right amount too. The only unpleasant experience was the music - entirely too loud but was turned down at my request.

    The food is incredible, and the service is top notch. I couldn’t have had a better birthday dinner. I even received a birthday card with the day’s menu and a candle for the occasion, which were such nice touches. This restaurant focuses on the details. I had a wonderful time with my family.

    Food was very good. More attentive service is needed. Several private parties- restaurant needs to staff accordingly when this occurs. We felt neglected at times. Early in the evening ran out of items.
