Best Waterfront Restaurants in Mendenhall

Our experience was wonderful. We were seated right away. Our waiter was excellent. He provided us with recommendations and brought our food out in a very professional manner. He was very attentive to our needs. Our oysters were delicious as was the calamari and the tuna we had. We will definitely come back.

Iron Hill is one of our favorites. We have several favorite beers that we like and love the cheesesteak eggrolls. This time I tried a dish I hadn't had before this time- the fried chicken sandwich. It's really the first time I was not happy with the meal. It was supposed to come with lettuce and tomato but the tomato was missing (our waitress did get me one upon request) and the chicken was overcooked and dry. I used some sauce from the eggrolls to try to moisten it a bit but that didn't help much. My husband had the crab cake sandwich and it was very good. Lots of crab and tasty.

This restaurant in the Westin Hotel was a surprise. The food is very good as was the service. The ambiance is lack luster and doesn’t fit the level of the cuisine. We will definitely be back when we are at an event at the river walk.

A real gem .... spur of the moment reservation as we were in the area proved to be quite enjoyable. The "chicken shepherd pie" and the "crab cake wellington", both small plate specials, were outstanding. And besides, where can you go and have the waitress offer anchovies on the ceasar salad!! Most places don't even know how to spell the word!! Happy we stopped in ... will do so again.
