Best Waterfront Restaurants in Orinda

We are from sacramento and come to the bay every few months. Skates is our magical spot! Most delish lobster bisque and fish and chips. A view that takes your breath away. Easy parking. The most casual atmosphere in a classy way, lol! Service is always fast and friendly, but never pushy or too much. Tracy helped us on this day, she has waited on us a few times - such a warm, kind and pleasant person…just made our lunch even better! Charlotte & Paula

The food was fantastic! The service was fine, but I was disappointed that there was no room for customization, which led me to choose a different dish than I originally wanted. Not ideal, but the food was still very good.

We love coming to the Boathouse. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and welcoming! The food is so delicious! I would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely environment, we felt welcomed and cared for. Appetizers were good, shishitos were flavorful and crunchy! The clam chowder was full of clams and fresh, fish and chips also hit the mark. Tuna salad was ok. We had a lovely birthday celebration and our server Jill made it even better. Positive attitude, knowledgeable about the menu and really great service! Thank you!
