- SShizukaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •42 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWonderful service and the food was excellent. There are more favorites for me to order now: The coal fired I dishes really shine. The burger is always consistently great, and their avocado and shrimp salad is my favorite. The mushroom lasagna I ordered today is my new favorite. So light and elegant but so much depth of flavor. Scallops are always the best - my daughter who orders scallops everywhere she goes said that it was one of the best that she has had. The chicken was not done completely a small part of it was still a bit raw, and the swordfish was a bit tough. But all the sides were perfectly done. Hash browns and sweet potatoes are a must. The carrots were packed with flavor. The service was excellent.More infoAda's on the RiverPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town Alexandria•4.7

Artie was our server/bartender and he was fabulous. Putting this place on our list of stops when we return in the spring.More infoBarca Wine Bar & PierPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Old Town Alexandria•4.8
- VVijayWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was an exceptional overall experience. It was amazing not only restaurant was open, but they served special festive menu for Christmas Eve! The food was delicious, and manager himself made a Tableside Torched Apple Manhattan. I only feel the courses were rushed and there should have been sometime between each course to enjoy and savor dishes. Especially, dessert was brought while we had not finished the main course.More infoChart House Restaurant - AlexandriaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Alexandria•4.2

- CCathyWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFood: gorgeous desserts; tasty scones (wish were warmer); sandwiches tasted good, but were not anything special in appearance. Ambiance: crowded and small, but they kindly set up a little extra table for us; typical in this area for restaurants to be small and crowded. Awesome decor and Christmas decorations. Very very lit with natural light. Service: Wonderful! Kind, thoughtful, patient servers. We did not feel rushed; tea time is about taking time for leisurely conversation and savoring of the fare. That was accomplished. We felt relaxed.More infoLady CamelliaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Alexandria•4.6
