- SSaravipFort Lauderdale •50 reviews5.0Dined todayLove the atmosphere and the festive decorations! The food is tremendous and service is excellent. My husband had the branzino, which was deliciously smoky with a nice crispy skin, and my black cod was well seasoned and cooked to silky perfection. The warm apple crisp was outstanding, we’d go back just for dessert!More infoWaterbarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- MMercedesSan Francisco Bay Area •91 reviews5.0Dined todayThis was our first time experience dining at Alora. I just came across Alora from Instagram. I like Mediterranean food so we ended celebrating my birthday dinner at Alora tonight. We were welcomed by the host and got a nice indoor table. The dining room was elegant looking, the chandeliers were hanging beautifully, the service was superb and the Mediterranean food was delicious and delectable. Carl, who was our server, was very pleasant to talk with. The kitchen is in the separate building but across the actual restaurant. Since this was our first time at the restaurant, we asked Carl his recommendation from the menu. We had a bottle of Cabernet Franc 2020 and it was delicious. For appetizers, we ordered tahini hummus, eggplant & muhammara & bread. For the main course to share, we had Izgara & Forno with 2 side dishes of roasted vegetables & roasted golden potatoes. I had a complimentary pear sorbet with a candle. We ordered the spicy chocolate cake for dessert. We stayed about 2.5 hours in the restaurant since it was Monday and quiet. We told the server and host that we will return and even come back with friends. I recommend Alora for fine dining like a date or special occasion or business lunch.More infoAloraPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- MMikeSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSpectacular! We wanted a nice place with a view to celebrate with family our son's Navy discharge. We were just coming from the Alcatraz tour, and were pleasantly surprised to find the Waterfront not packed, but welcoming and charming! View was great, staff were attentive, and food & drinks were perfect! At the end of the evening, the waiter MADE SURE to point out an 18% gratuity was already added in (small print) which I found refreshing for servers, so I upped that! We will be back!More infoThe Waterfront Restaurant and CafePrice: Expensive• Californian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- KKatiaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoLa Mar continues to set the gold standard for exceptional dining. The location is vibrant, the service impeccable, and the food nothing short of extraordinary. For our party of five, we indulged in an incredible array of dishes: - Pulpo Anticuchero - Anticuchos - Ceviche Tasting - Planchada a la Mar - Grilled Salmon - Chicharrón de Calamar - La Mar Pulpo - Tomahawk 40oz All paired perfectly with the refreshing Kola and Chicha Morada. This wasn’t the first visit for some of us, but once again, La Mar exceeded expectations. The speed and quality of service were remarkable, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. What truly sets La Mar apart is its ability to combine bold, authentic flavors with a modern touch, creating a dining experience that’s both comforting and memorable. From the tender, flavorful seafood to the perfectly grilled Tomahawk steak, every dish was a masterpiece. La Mar is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished.More infoLa Mar Cocina Peruana San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7
