Best Fun Restaurants in North Stonington

Wonderful first experience there! The food was melt in your mouth delicious. We had the prime rib which was the best I ever had. Ella our server was very warm and immediately made us feel welcome. Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful food! We would definitely recommend!

Ours was a return visit which was just as lovely as the first! The eggplant parmigiana was literally the best I’ve had. The ambiance is warm s and cozy. Longo’s has become my favorite restaurant, my friends’ as well!

Our server McKenna was excellent, attentive and polite! It was my daughters 18th birthday and our first experience at Sugar, and we’ll definitely be back!

Excellent service. Food fantastic! Had the calamari appetizer and the scallops with Parmesan risotto that was fabulous. Always enjoy dining at The Cafe. ❤️

We have wanted to try Tin Peddler for a while, and had the perfect opportunity for a family brunch. We had an 11:00 a.m. reservation, and when we arrived the hostess informed us that they were running a little behind, so we had a 10 minute wait to be seated which was no big deal. The brunch menu is lovely. The drink menu offered wonderful brunch cocktail selections (including mocktails), and the food menu had a really nice selection of both breakfast and more savory lunch options. Everyone said their food was exceptional. Our party ordered a variety of items, including traditional breakfasts, butternut bisque, avocado toast and grilled cheese, all delicious. One funny thing that happened was the bus person took our plates before asking if we were finished, and before we realized what was happening, my son was left holding the last bites of his breakfast sandwich while his plate was cleared away. We all laughed, but this is just a little fine tuning that their staff should be trained on. The restaurant decor is really fun and inviting. The noise level did get loud at times but that seems to be common in restaurants these days because of the decor and furnishings they use, and the open concept layout. Definitely not a deal breaker. All in all we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning to try their dinner menu!
